Show 'n' Shine

Sunday on the showfield

For some, this is the highlight of the weekend! The very best buses of all types, lining up to be judged by our panel of experts in their respective fields. Who will take home this year’s trophies?

Categories

All owners who enter the Show 'n' Shine will all receive an exclusive and unique commemorative plaque. Vehicles will assemble outside the show field from 9.15 am Sunday and will be directed to park up in classes by the marshalls.

Buses are grouped and shown in Six Classes: Splits, Bays, T3 T4 T5 and T6, covering each generation with FIVE winners for each class. So there are lots of trophies up for grabs in each class! This means you don’t have to decide which sub-section fits you – you just enter the appropriate Class for your Generation and the judges do the rest! NB this is not a concours or stock bus only show – no points deducted for radial tyres on a Split or a missing tool roll! Custom, modded or stock, campers or commercials, all are welcome. Judging is done by pairs of knowledgeable and passionate enthusiasts who spend time coming round looking at every bus and chatting to owners.

There is also a category for Other VWs, Class 7. This is open to Beetles, Ghias, Trekkers, Cabrios, Golfs, Caddys etc.. Places in Class 7 are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis; when the class is full no others will be able to join in. There will be trophies for Best in Class and Runner Up only.

All prize winning buses will have a rosette pinned to their windscreen and will then park up separately for the Awards Ceremony, and for the judging of Best In Show. This year there will be TWO vehicles chosen from the winners: Best In Show: Splits/ bays/ T3s and Best in Show: T4s / T5s / T6s

Whilst it is possible to sign up at the show, due to its popularity we strongly advise you to sign up in advance to ensure your place and guarantee your special plaque.

Bookings for show n shine, all Classes, are now closed. Class 5 (T5s) and Class 7 (other VWs) is full. However, there are a few places left in other classes, and you can check availability sign up on Saturday on the show field.

PLEASE NOTE: Whilst the organisers will attempt to accommodate vehicles that have not pre-booked, we cannot guarantee entry for vehicles not pre-booked or that turn up on the day. Due to the time needed for judging, and limited space on the show field, we do have a limit on the numbers of vehicles entered for each Class.
