Camper Van Live Lounge

When the displays are done and the Show ‘n’ Shine has shone, come visit Tom and his team who’ll keep you entertained throughout the day.

Camper Jam wouldn’t be the same without Tom Dibb and the Camper Van Live Lounge! Catch him in our Show Field in his incredible 1989 VW T25 converted camper van, 'Pickle'. The perfect music to serve alongside ice cold cider and sunshine!

TOM DIBB
Whether you're watching Tom Dibb solo or with band, get set for a beautifully gutsy performance, as he tells his stories with undertones of blues, roots and folk, grown through a forest of soaring acoustic goodness.
Tom has found his sound set firmly with an ever growing, loyal fan base that follow him not only across his home turf in the UK, but also across the Globe. Tom's world tour and self drive expedition in his 1989 vw camper-van all the way from the UK to Australia in 2016, lay the foundations and inspiration for much of his material. It fits into mainstream moulds, yet also satisfies a deeper creative taste.

DAVE MANNING
He’s played Folsom Prison. He’s held up traffic all over the west. Dave is living his life in the old tradition of the traveling-storytellers and songwriters.
Dave tours in “Vincent” his ’65 Microbus in the states and during his time in the UK he hits the road in “BB” his brown type 2.
In a time when the wandering minstrels have long been replaced by television and Karaoke, Dave is still out there with the last of them. Cruising at a lazy 50mph and playing in a different town every few days, Dave isn’t afraid of “paying his dues.” His bus is full of stories of the road from AK to the high deserts of Arizona and everywhere between.
Dave’s voice is most often compared to Tom Waits, and his style on the piano varies widely from soulful ballads to blues, country to boogie-woogie.

THE GLEAVES
Two magical solo artists, Chloe Ann Gleaves and Josh Gleaves as a duo perform effortless pristine country folk inspired original songs and clever takes on the not so predictable cover.
The warmth and flow of Chloe's smooth voice blended with the confident power of Josh sets you in between a vocal air of ease and excitement. Soaring chords and energetic lead is glued with delicately confident finger picking style, a life on the road together with their acoustic guitars delivers many a story to tell and the time to do it with excellence.

JOSEPH LOFTHOUSE
No stranger to capturing audiences, Joseph Lofthouse’s songs are equally unpretentious and sincere.
Whether it’s at gigs with the likes of Elbow, Blue Rose Code and The Boxer Rebellion. Or playing good friends down the aisle, Joe proves over again that it’s possible to make people travel with a guitar and a song. Even when they have both feet planted on the ground.

RUN REMEDY
Hailing from the birthplace of the Boss, meet the alt-indie folk artist Run Remedy: expressive, rhythmic, melancholic, and slightly irreverent tunes by Robin Koob, perfect for fans of fellow soul-bearing artists ala Angel Olsen, Fiona Apple, Julia Jacklin, Eliott Smith, and Lucy Dacus.
An apostate of the classical world, Koob is a multi-genre violinist complete with pedal board, hustling across the UK playing everything from post-rock and heavy metal to psych pop, indie and Americana with artists like Francis Lung, Hannah Ashcroft, Craig Gould, Blanket. Dawn Walker, and PIJN. She's session'd her way from the Jersey shore to Beijing, the Netherlands and Berlin, building her creative voice along the way, making for an intricate and unexpected audio experience.
